Walmart Cashier Kayla Slone Headed to the ACM Awards With Dierks Bentley [VIDEO]

A few weeks ago we brought you and amazing video of Kayla Slone, the singing Walmart cashier. Her video has gone viral and has caught the eye of some of the biggest names in country music, including Dierks Bentley.

Kayla visited New York and stopped by and chatted with Anderson Cooper on 'Anderson Live.' She talked about her first flight, the strange yellow cabs, and how her dream is to be able to get her husband out of working in mines.

Kayla got the surprise of her life when country superstar Dierks Bentley called in to gush about how big of a fan he is. “I’m a huge fan,” Bentley told her. “Like so many people, I saw the video, and, gosh, I just love your singing, your voice, it’s such a great traditional country voice. It was really refreshing and I wanted to just call and tell you that I’m a fan and enjoyed your story.”

Bentley then invited her to mingle with him and country's brightest stars at the upcoming ACM awards in Las Vegas. He gave her tickets to his pre-party, the show itself, and the big afterparty. She will be rubbing elbows with the biggest names in music, managers, producers, and more. This is a big step in making her dream come true.
