Physical therapists Kusturin and Dana Warren came together to form the Equestrian Zone, physical, speech and occupational therapy center that treats children with horses offering the rider numerous benefits.  The children get the thrill of riding the horses while receiving physical and mental therapy.

Although equine herpes poses no threat to humans, the deadly disease is highly contagious among horses, and the animals are generally quarantined during outbreaks. (Which is why live horses weren't available for the Junior Queen Contest.)
