Two East Texans Die in Separate Traffic Accidents

A three vehicle accident in Hopkins County has claimed the life of a Sulphur Springs man.

DPS says 54-year-old Agustin M. Yanez ‘s car was rear-ended by a truck driven by 25-year-old Jordan Manley of Cumby, TX. The impact forced Yanez’s car into oncoming traffic where he was struck by another car driven by 44-year-old Mark Coffman of Campbell, TX.

Yanez died at the scene of the accident which occurred Tuesday on State Highway 11 West around 5:30 p.m.

 

A fatal crash Wednesday morning  killed a Cass County Man.  DPS reports 31-year-old Dustin Paul Williams of Hughes Springs lost control of his van and overturned the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident occurred on FM 130 just east of County Rd. 2747 in Cass County. DPS says Williams who was not wearing a seat belt was ejected from the van.
