The 2019 CMA Awards will take place on Nov. 13 in Nashville, Tenn. The show will be held at Bridgestone Arena.

The 2019 CMA Awards will begin at 8PM ET and be broadcast live on ABC. Numerous outlets will broadcast live from the red carpet ahead of the show as well; The Boot will keep readers up to date with red carpet photos and coverage of any major pre-show moments.

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood co-hosted the CMA Awards every year since 2008, but in 2019, only Underwood will be back in the role. On Aug. 19, the CMA announced that Underwood will host the 2019 CMA Awards with special guest co-hosts Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton. The night will find the organization celebrating country music's legendary female figures.

The official CMA Awards pre-telecast event will be hosted by Carly Pearce and Michael Ray.

We do know one guaranteed award winner, though: Kris Kristofferson has been named the recipient of the CMA's 2019 Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award, which is presented to "an iconic artist who has attained the highest degree of recognition in country music," in recognition of "both national and international prominence through performances, humanitarian efforts, philanthropy, record sales and public representation at the highest level."

“Kris is a living legend whose impact on our genre has been monumental,” says Country Music Association CEO Sarah Trahern in a press release. “He is the definition of an icon and someone our community holds with such high regard. I’m thrilled our board selected Kris this year for one of the CMA’s highest accolades."

Kristofferson will not be in attendance at the 2019 CMA Awards to receive his new honor in person. He had a show in Davenport, Iowa, scheduled for that night.

Who’s Presenting at the 2019 CMA Awards?

Trisha YearwoodMartina McBride and more will serve as presenters at the 2019 CMA Awards. The Country Music Association announced a full slate of presenters for the upcoming awards show on Nov. 4.

In addition to Yearwood and McBride, fellow country artists Blanco BrownDeana CarterJanie FrickeVince GillKathy MatteaMidlandCraig MorganJennifer NettlesPam Tillis and Morgan Wallen will also be presenting awards and introducing performances during the 2019 CMA Awards. The presenters list also includes country DJ Bobby Bones, Dancing With the Stars contestant Hannah Brown, actor and singer Kristin Chenoweth, comedian Jim Gaffigan, actor Madelaine Petsch and actor and comedian JB Smoove.

On Nov. 13, the CMA added a few final presenters to the bill: country artists Jimmie Allen and Cody Johnson, Good Morning America contributor Lara Spencer, Eagles member Joe Walsh and actor Reese Witherspoon.
