3 Injured in Tyler Shooting, Police Investigating
A motive remains unclear after a "shots fired" call spiraled into a multi-crime scene investigation in Tyler Wednesday night.
According to KLTV, three people sustained non-life threatening injuries after a shooting incident near Fun Forest Park around 6 p.m. Wednesday.
"We have officers at the hospital, we have multiple scenes, at the hospital, here at Fun Forest, and at a residence," Tyler Police Public Information Officer Don Martin said.
By the time officers arrived, all involved had left the scene, but were located at a nearby residence. Two males, 17 and 26, were taken to a hospital for gunshot wounds, as well as a one female, age 17 with injuries from a shattered car window.
Police also found a separate vehicle involved in the shooting parked behind a nearby home.
A motive for the shooting remains unclear at this time.
