Adults Can Have A Spooky Paranormal Summer With The Tyler Public Library
The Tyler Public Library wants to ensure they have something to offer for the entire family this summer. Earlier this month they announced that they have partnered with the Tyler Transit to offer free bus rides to the kids during the summer and now they are offering a new program for the adults with a paranormal twist.
The Tyler Public Library announced its new adult program “The Paranormal Adult Summer Reading Program” or the (ASRP). The ASRP program challenges participants to read 8 different books from June 5th to July 29th and for every book reported on their online reading log, one ticket for the drawing of a $100 Home Depot give card will be earned. Also, the Tyler Public Library is hosting 3 paranormal events throughout summer
Access Librarian Connie Greer said
We are excited about our paranormal events and we want people to celebrate literacy with us and attend some fun events that will go hand in hand with the themes of their spooky summer reads.
The paranormal activities kicked off Wednesday, June 7th at 6 pm and is an after-hours ghost tour with Professional psychic and ghost hunter Mick McCaskill.
On June 14th at 5 pm, wildlife expert and Cryptozoologist Jeff Stewart, also known as “The Cyptohulk” takes the lead.
And wrapping up the series on June 21st at 5 pm the Library will welcome UFO expert Nick Redfern and psychic Buffy Clary.
Registration for the (ASRP) reading program is free and once registered you can log the books you read online here.
