After spending 20 years with the New York Yankees, Derek Jeter will retire at the conclusion of this season. But his impact on the Yankees and on baseball will last forever.

With Jeter's last home-opener today, Yankees Stadium will be full of fans and emotions this afternoon. Just last night in their game against the Toronto Blue Jays, Jeter moved up to No. 8 on the list of all-time hits, passing Paul Molitor with a total of 3,320 hits.

But Jeter isn't only known for his baseball skills, he's a leader for the team and serves as an incredible role model as well. That's not to say that his baseball skills shouldn't be recognized though, you can check out 10 of his greatest moments here:

Even as a non-Yankees fan, I can't help but respect everything Jeter has done for baseball in his incredible career.
