Dude in England Wants to Ban Popcorn at Movie Theatres

So, Mike Shotton from Newcastle in northeast England, says that his enjoyment of movies is disturbed by movie goers eating popcorn.

What? Yes.

He says that theaters remind us to be quiet during a movie but they, Shotton's quote, "sell the loudest food known to man."

Has he eaten potato chips or Doritos or corn chips?

He even started a petition on PetitionBuzz.com to have popcorn removed. As of writing this article, 126 people had signed it.

I think he doesn't have too many that agree with him.

But to make things even stranger, a group made their own petition that stated "popcorn is an essential part of the cinema experience."

Shotton plans to stand outside theaters handing leaflets asking people not to buy popcorn.
