Good news for food truck operators, and folks who enjoy frequenting them in downtown Tyler. The Smith County Commissioners have decided not to add any additional regulations for food truck businesses on T. B. Butler Square in downtown Tyler.

According to KLTV, "Smith County Judge Nathaniel Moran says the current application for use is built to ensure trucks aren’t “damaging our property… and [are] abiding by the health regulations and city ordinances. Commissioners do not want food trucks to park their business on the square long-term, but with current applicants, the most any truck has requested to be on the square is two days a week."
