So last week, I went 8-6 with my picks. That's my third best record for a week behind week one (11-5) and week four (12-3). The Cowboys have a bye this week. I like the trade for wide receiver Amari Cooper. I think it's gonna help the offense big time.

The Houston Texans. Who are they? Are they the 0-3 team to start the season or the 4-0 team currently? Their defense looks solid. J.J. Watt just needs to stay healthy. DeShaun Watson is playing with a myriad of injuries, including a partially collapsed lung from the game against Dallas. He couldn't fly to play in Jacksonville last week because of the lung. He's playing pretty good, though, even with all the hits he's taking. Miami started hot, cooled off, then hot again with Brock Osweiler, of all people, as their quarterback. They're in Houston tonight (October 25) so Houston will make it five wins in a row.

The Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers opened their seasons against each other in Cleveland. That game ended in a tie. The Browns are a much improved team and play hard. I believe we're gonna start seeing some big things from Cleveland in the coming years. The Steelers had a rough start but are slowly bringing it together. They're current running back, James Conner, is playing great and making people forget about no show LaVeon Bell. This at Heinz Field, where it's always hard for the visitor to win. Pittsburgh wins this game, in regulation, by two touchdowns.

The Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions are two teams that just seem to be there. No one is talking about them and their play has not been all that exciting. Both teams are going through huge changes this season, too. New head coach in Detroit, players moving on in Seattle. This is one of those "meh" games but the Seahawks come out victorious on their trip to Ford Field.

The rest of my Week 8 picks are below:
