Whitehouse’s Pat Mahomes will Shine in His Sunday Night Matchup

So...yeah, I bombed with my week 5 picks. But I did say last week, "...most of the games are literally toss ups on who could win." And they were. I just picked completely wrong. I'll get it back this week.

Last week, I said that Pat Mahomes would get his first loss and throw his first interception. I got half of that right. That vaulted Jacksonville Jaguar defense just didn't have it Pat ran all over them. My apologies to Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. This Sunday night, Kansas City heads to Boston to take on Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. The Patriots have had two big wins in a row but that short streak ends with Kansas City on top by two touchdowns.

The Chicago Bears. There has not been much to say about this team for some time. This year, though, they look great. Especially when they got Khalil Mack to add to their defense. He has been a one man wrecking crew since he came over with five sacks and four forced fumbles. Mitchell Trubisky is on fire in his second year. The Dolphins host Chicago for Sunday's late game. Chicago wins.

I'm a Dallas Cowboys fan. Have been since I was a little kid. I love Dak Prescott as the quarterback. I love Zeke as our running back. The defense is solid this year. Where are the receivers? Where is that great offensive line play? Can Jerry Jones finally put his ego aside and hire a proper general manager? Dallas can be a great team but there is so much standing in their way. It's a tough time to be a Cowboys fan. It'll be a tough Sunday, too, as the Jacksonville Jaguars will come to AT&T Stadium and get a win.
