Here Are My Picks for Week 5 of the Pro Football Season
I got my picking back on track last weekend going 12-3. This week, I'm not as confident in my picks just because most of the games are literally toss ups on who could win. We'll see.
The Atlanta Falcons head to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers. Both teams have not lived up to expectations so far this season. The Steelers tied the Browns week 1 (face palm) and have this continuous LaVeon Bell soap opera. It's just not their year. Atlanta has been a little better. The offense looks good but their defense is not the best. It's a toss up but I'm giving it to the Falcons.
I think this will be the best game of the weekend. The Jacksonville Jaguars, with that awesome defense, visit Pat Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. We know how great the Whitehouse native is playing this season. But Jacksonville's defense is so good. I think Mahomes throws his first interception and Jacksonville wins in a close one.
Last week, the Cincinnati Bengals won a close one in Atlanta. They have been a bit of a surprise this season. The Miami Dolphins got off to a great 3-0 start but the Patriots are always their achilles heel, hence their big loss to them. The Dolphins are in Cincy this Sunday. I think the Bengals will continue their surprising season with the win.
The rest of my Week 5 picks are below:
Thursday, October 4
- Colts at Patriots - Patriots
Sunday, October 7
- Titans at Bills - Titans
- Falcons at Steelers - Falcons
- Broncos at Jets - Broncos
- Jaguars at Chiefs - Jaguars
- Packers at Lions - Packers
- Ravens at Browns - Ravens
- Giants at Panthers - Panthers
- Dolphins at Bengals - Bengals
- Raiders at Chargers - Raiders
- Cardinals at 49's - 49's
- Vikings at Eagles - Eagles
- Rams at Seahawks - Rams
- Cowboys at Texans - Cowboys
Monday, October 8
- Redskins at Saints - Saints
There ya go. A lot of toss up games this week. I believe in a Raiders upset, though. Make your picks in our 2018 Pick 'Em Contest and see if you can out pick me each week. You know you want those bragging rights.
