Girl Scouts Announce New 2026 Cookie Flavor: Exploremores

(Mix 93-1) I don't know what flavor does it for you, but once I get my hands on a box of Do-si-dos Girl Scout cookies, they will be gone in a matter of days. Honestly, a box can disappear within hours of me opening it if I'm really telling the truth AND telling on myself!

Seriously, that is one of the best flavors of cookies that the Girl Scouts has to offer. I do enjoy a good Thin Mint, Lemon Ups, and Toffee-tastic too, but my wife goes for Trefoils shortbread cookie every time. So we always seem to have a variety in the pantry.

Thankfully, I don't have to worry about devouring a box of Do-si-dos right now because it's not Girl Scout cookie season yet.

When Is Girl Scout Cookie Season in East Texas?

Those boxes of deliciousness will be returning before you know it. Girl Scout cookie season will kick off in January, and girls around East Texas will typically be selling them in front of the big box retailers, hardware stores, and other convenient places through April.

A Sweet New Flavor Joins the 2026 Lineup

The Girl Scouts are continually changing their cookie line-up, and new for 2026 will be a cookie called ... Exploremores.

What Are Exploremores?

Exploremores will be available in the 2026 cookie season and are described as a 'rocky road ice cream-inspired sandwich cookie'. This new bite-sized treat will mix the flavors of chocolate wafer cookies with marshmallow and toasted almond-flavored creme into a sandwich cookie.

This box of cookie goodness had better watch out because it sounds like it could go as fast as that box of Do-si-dos.

Other Cookie Flavors Still on the Menu

Exploremores will join Thin Mints, Samoas/Caramel deLites, Peanut Butter Patties/Tagalongs, Adventurefuls, Caramel Chocolate Chip, Lemonades, Lemon-Ups, Toffee-tastic, Trefoils, and Peanut Butter Sandwich/Do-si-dos in 2026.
