Our social and weekend calendars are filling up with a wide variety of things to do around East Texas on the weekend. We're balancing a social life with a weekend project list from around the house that is a mile long.

We all deserve some time to ourselves, some time to chill out and relax without a care in the world and stroll through a huge event or festival. At the same time we've got to make sure the lawn is mowed the flower bed is looking good and make our weekly grocery store run.

Hopefully, you'll be able to balance out your weekend and include one of these activities in your plans.

Here's a look at this weekend's event happening across East Texas.
