You can find some pretty incredible hotels in many of the major Texas cities but Houston in particular might have one that only a brave few would check out. Not because of the price but because of their pool. Located on the 42nd floor is a pool with a glass bottom...that hangs OVER the streets of downtown Houston!

Here's where to find the Sky Pool in Houston

You might have seen videos of people inside this pool & it looks like they're walking on air. Well I can assure you, it's real & it's quite surreal. It's made of plexiglass & comes with a clear bottom. Which means that yes...you can literally swim over the people that are walking & driving on the street below.

And if you want to see just how big the pool is on the outside, check out this drone footage. You can really see just how high up you are if you took a swim here.

This pool actually has a name: the Infinity Pool located at the Market Square Tower. The pool itself hangs 10 feet over the edge & is about 8 feet deep. After taking a virtual tour of this pool, I can safely say... I don't think I'm brave enough to dip into this pool.

That's not even including the price tag to SWIM in this sky pool. Which if you want to make a reservation, it's gonna cost a pretty penny. So for now, I'm going to admire this pool from afar (and online).

This isn't the only place you can swim in Texas that might be a little scary; you can read about the famous Jacob's Well swimming hole (and its dark secret) here.
