Johnny Manziel’s Dad Says Jail Is The Best Place For Him
Talk about tough words of love, Johnny Manziel's father really wants to see his son get some help. What is a parent to do, when they have done all they can do?
Recently, "Johnny Football" took a trip down to Cabo and tweeted
"@flashgordonxii I won't take this thing off for a week. You my brother FOR LIFE. JUST WAIT ON THIS COMEBACK!!!! #CaboWabo #JoshAintHere #hiDad #HappyBdayDaveEvans."
There has also been a SnapChat floating around with legs of a female who is staying at the expensive Cabo mansion with Johnny and 20 other people, with sunscreen and what appears to be baggies of drugs in her lap. Johnny is swearing up and down they are not his according to TMZ.
TMZ says they recently interviewed Johnny and he said: "They're absolutely not mine. I don't even know that girl." He went on to say that he doesn't even know everyone that is staying in the house.
According to CBSsports.com, Manziel's attorney accidentally sent a text message to the Associated Press that explains how they are attempting to reach a plea deal in Johnny's domestic violence case involving his ex-girlfriend. Paul Manziel, who is Johnny's father is concerned that if his son doesn't get help soon, he will lose his life.
Back in February Paul spoke with ESPN's Josina Anderson about his son and this is what he had to say:
"He's a druggie. It's not a secret that he's a druggie. I don't know what to say other than my son is a druggie and he needs help. He just hasn't seeked it yet. Hopefully he doesn't die before he comes to his senses. That's about all you can say. I don't know what else to say. I hate to say it but I hope he goes to jail. I mean, that would be the best place for him. So we'll see."
According to TMZ, Johnny says that he is going completely sober beginning July 1st. No alcohol just eating right and training like crazy. Johnny wants to make a come back to the NFL. Hope it all works out for him.
