It's not clear which case the man was being investigated for.

The Army's Criminal Investigation Command launched an investigation into allegations that Vanessa was sexually harassed.

“I want my daughter. We need to go to Congress, to the President. We are wasting our time here," Vanessa's mom said.

Fort Hood has now released a statement in the form of a video in what officials are calling a new push to bring Vanessa home.

Officials made the announcement Friday morning and ordered an autopsy.

It's now been more than 50 days since 20-year-old Fort Hood soldier Vanessa Guillen was reported missing.

Officials with Fort Hood are asking the public's help in locating a soldier who has been missing since last Wednesday.

Fort Hood officials confirmed Monday that a former Fort Hood soldier was one of 100 U.S. service members included in an online "kill list" posted by possible Islamic State agents, which also names more than 60 U.S. cities as ISIS targets, including seven in Texas.

Four people, including the gunman, were killed and 16 others injured in a shooting at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas Wednesday evening.  Fort Hood officials said the gunman was a soldier who had been receiving mental health treatment and that he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
