You may have never won an "Ugly Sweater" contest, but who cares about winning when you can decorate ugly sweater cookies and then eat them afterwards? YUM.
There seems to be an online service for anything now. Need a lift? We got Uber. Can't find a mate? Type in whateverlove.com. Tired of going out by yourself? You can now rent someone to be your friend for the evening.
The next time a holiday comes around, fight the temptation to minimize it. Celebrate special days. Heck, celebrate every day. Really, aren't they all special?
