Summer is here, the pool is full of water and they're about to be full of kids and adults for summer play! Tyler Parks and Recreation will open the city pool for the summer season on Saturday, June 3rd!

With only a few weeks left before the summer pool season ends and the kids go back to school, news comes that the Woldert pool in Tyler will be closing earlier than usual.

Texas isn't the barren wasteland, full of cowboys and tumbleweeds, that Hollywood portrays. We've actually got some awesome scenery and natural attractions that bring in people from all over.

East Texas has seen its fare share of rain and severe weather this spring. It's been one of the wettest years on records, and one that has caused much pain and destruction for many East Texas families.
