Bullard will be hosting the Red White & Blue Festival on Saturday (November 3rd) to raise money to support veterans. The festival will begin with a parade and will have carnival rides, bounce houses, games, live entertainment, a car show and conclude with a concert and the best part is it's free to the public!

Join KNUE along with country superstar Trace Adkins at Brookshire's on Rice Road in Tyler this Thursday morning at 6 a.m. Brookshire Grocery Company is sending 33 WWII Veterans to Washington D.C. and Trace will be there to sing the National Anthem!

Smith County is home to more than 18,000 veterans and has the the third largest Veteran's Service Organizations in Texas. The Veteran's and Community Roundtable of Tyler organization is working to make Tyler even more of a veteran-friendly place by offering veterans entrepreneurial, health and welfare related opportunities.

First Lady along with Joe Biden's wife, Dr. Jilly Bidden spent their Sunday supporting NASCAR and an organization "Joining Forces" which has been created to help our veterans with training and ultimately jobs.  Unfortunately they were met with boos as heard in the video after the jump.

Veterans Day is Friday, November 11, and in honor of those who have fought for our freedoms, Workforce Solutions of East Texas in Tyler, is holding a job fair for Veterans on November, 9.

A recent survey conducted by Military Times Edge ranks which colleges are best for military veterans. Most of the schools making the list were public, including 51 of the 59 highest ranking four-year schools. The top five four-year schools included Concord University, taking the number one spot, Eastern Kentucky University at number two, Rutgers in third, California University of Pennsylvania

Workforce Solutions of East Texas - Tyler is holding their 8th Annual Veteran-Focused Job Fair on Wednesday, November 9th from 9a-Noon. The job fair of course is opened to all, but it focuses on military veterans.
