Smith County is home to more than 18,000 veterans and has the the third largest Veteran's Service Organizations in Texas. The Veteran's and Community Roundtable of Tyler organization is working to make Tyler even more of a veteran-friendly place by offering veterans entrepreneurial, health and welfare related opportunities.

The Veteran's and Community Roundtable of Tyler  is holding a Veteran's Business Bootcamp at Tyler Junior College's West Campus from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 28. The business bootcamp is for veterans, spouses and their families.

This event will feature educational classes to help aid local veterans grow or start a business. The classes will cover topics on money, marketing and management and will be taught by professionals from around Tyler and Dallas.
