Drought conditions are continuing to worsen here in East Texas. The latest outlook from the United States Drought Monitor shows much of East Texas in a severe drought, while everyone is at least abnormally dry.
A warmer than normal winter is what we can expect this winter. An outlook released from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration recently indicates that Texas has a good chance to see above normal temperatures over the next few months.
Sunday evening, a storm system produced a tornado that devastated a stretch of north Dallas leaving in its wake numerous damaged buildings, tens of thousands without power, and hundreds of thousands of people shaken.
