A Former Texas High School Soccer Coach Was Stunting A Little Too Hard At A Houston Strip Club.

I would like to think this person may have MISTAKENLY pulled out the "wrong card" for their evening of shenanigans which could be an honest mistake but at the end of the day, when the bosses get the bill, you gotta just go ahead and fall on your sword...metaphorically.

This all happened during the Texas High School Coaches Association annual convention.

Coach JD Bales of Bridgeport High School which is northwest of Fort Worth, was attending a coaching clinic in Houston in July when he allegedly charged $5,455.18 on a school district card at The Men’s Club, a "gentlemen's club". Looks like Coach was "making it rain" a little bit.

According to The Wise County Messenger, Bridgeport Police Chief Steve Stanford said that the district became aware in September that a large amount was charged to the "Texas Richmond Corporation" which is the strip club's parent company. Police and the district opened up an investigation.

The police chief went on to add that he does not believe the investigation will lead to criminal charges against the coach since the district has been reimbursed for the charged amount.

Bales, who was hired in 2018 and led the Bulls’ soccer program and served as an assistant football coach at Bridgeport for six years, he resigned as the soccer coach and a special education teacher at the district’s board of trustees meeting back in September.
