Back in 2015, we all saw video of a car swerving to knock over a motorcyclist and it's passenger in Granbury, Southwest of Ft. Worth.

Warning: The video does contain strong language.

The motorcyclist, Eric Sanders, suffered minor injuries while his passenger, Debra Simpson, suffered a broken arm in the crash.

Last week, justice was served as 69 year old William Sam Crum was convicted on two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in Hood County. He will serve 15 years in prison, according to the Star-Telegram.

Crum tried to use the excuse that a spider had bit him causing him to lose control of his car. He also said that if Eric Sanders had not been trying to pass in a no passing zone, the accident would not have happened.

This is not Crum's first brush with the law. He was convicted in 1994 for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and in 2007 for reckless driving and making a terroristic threat.

Moral of the story, be respectful of all bikers on the road no matter how you think they are driving. Don't take the law into your own hands if you believe they are driving recklessly. Contact local authorities and let them handle it.
