
Gunfire Seen in Attempted Armored Truck Robbery in Texas
It was shocking to watch the video that you can see below of a group of men in Texas attempting to rob an armored truck. It’s seems like the plot line to an action movie, but it was a real life and death situation.
The Texas Armored Truck Robbery Details
According to KHOU, police are still searching for suspects involved in the attempted armored truck robbery that took place on Tuesday, December 17th, 2024 in southeast Houston.
Police first received the 911 call about the incident in the Sunnyside area. The details included at least four men attempting to rob workers who were there to load an ATM machine with cash.
Where Exactly Did This Attempted Robbery Take Place?
The ATM that was in the process of being loaded is located on Cullen Boulevard near Sunbeam Street, just south of Reed Road.How the Attempted Robbery Took Place
After the worker approached the ATM machine, there was a white Chevy Impala that was already in the parking lot and pulled closer to the machine when quickly three men jump out of the car.
The armored truck employee quickly realizes what is going on and draws his weapon while ducking behind nearby vehicles.
After a shootout took place, one suspect left in the white Chevy Impala, while multiple others hopped over a fence to run away.
Those suspects approached another woman and stole her car at gunpoint. He vehicle was later found on a dead-end street.
No word on whether law enforcement believes this is a large crime ring operation or if they got away with anything.
