For some people, it seems making their way around a computer, and technology in general, comes second nature. For others, even if they were taught about basic computer skills in school, it's a continual struggle. As time goes on, not having at least an elementary grasp on computing concepts is only going to make your life more and more difficult.

Whether you want a refresher course to solidify the foundations of your understanding or you've been putting off learning about the "gadget" for years and know it's time to get up to speed, take advantage of this 'Basic Computer Class' offered at the Tyler Public Library on January 25. Can't make it? No worries. They offer this to the public on the first and third Fridays AND fourth Saturdays for the foreseeable future. Time and place at the library? 9 a.m in the library computer lab.
