Boat Ramp At Lake Tyler To Close For Dam Fireworks Show

In preparation for the Dam Fireworks show Saturday at Lake Tyler, the boat ramp at Lake Tyler Concession Park will be closed.

The boat ramp is being closed because of the Dam Fireworks show and because of a Whitehouse Chamber of Commerce scheduled event.  All other Lake Tyler boat ramps will be open and expected to be busy as an influx of boats are expected to be on the water for the fireworks show.

Whitehouse Utilities and Public Works Managing Director Greg Morgan issues this caution for boaters this weekend and anytime you’re on Lake Tyler,

The lake is still below normal levels due to the recent drought conditions.” (press release)

Also, use caution while using public boat ramps.

Don’t forget to take your radio with you to the Dam Fireworks show at Lake Tyler Saturday night because the show is choreographed to music that will be playing on Mix 93-1.
