Reunited and it feels so good! Brett Young is currently serving as an opening act on Kelsea Ballerini 's Miss Me More Tour, and he says he jumped at the chance to join her on the trek.

Young and Ballerini already knew what it's like to share a stage, as they both filled the role of opening acts on Lady Antebellum's You Look Good Tour in 2017, with Young referring to it as "one of the most fun summers of my life." The "In Case You Didn't Know" singer views the rising star is an ideal tour mate, seeing as they both play to similar fanbases.

"When the opportunity came up to do this tour with her and kind of share audiences and get back together again, I mean, it was a no-brainer for me," he tells his record label, Big Machine Label Group.

In addition to the memories they've created on the road, Young also notes that he admires Ballerini musically and artistically.

"I’m such a big fan of Kelsea, and not only her artistry but her songwriting and everything that she’s doing," he shares. "And we’re excited to do it again.”

The Miss Me More Tour marks Ballerini's third headlining trek. Up-and-coming singer-songwriter Brandon Ratcliff also joins as an opening act on the 14-date tour, which kicked off April 11 in Maryland and continues through May 11, when it wraps in North Dakota. The tour, named after Ballerini's current single, includes a stop in her hometown of Knoxville, Tenn., at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum.

Young will be juggling his road life with an increasingly busy home life as he makes his way across the country this summer. He and his wife, Taylor, revealed they were expecting their first child on April 6. The couple announced they are expecting a girl in a playful reveal they shared online on Tuesday (April 16).
