Congratulations dude.

He ended his New Mexico career 9-16 with a 4.39 ERA and 187 strikeouts according to

There are a couple of East Texans currently making a name for themselves in Major League Baseball. Nacogdoches's Brandon Belt plays first base for the San Francisco Giants. He's won two World Series rings with the Giants in 2012 and 2014.

Longview's Chris Davis was originally drafted by the Texas Rangers but traded to the Baltimore Orioles in 2011. The first baseman ended the 2018 season 0-21. That hitless streak continued into 2019, ending after 54 straight at bats without a hit. He has since improved at the plate.

Good luck to Justin as he makes his dream of being an MLB pitcher come true.
