Are you obsessing over the Winter Olympics like we are? Well if you're looking for a romantic twist for Valentine's Day, you'll find it in the married figure skating pair, Alexa Scimeca Knierim and Chris Knierim.

Last night, the pair landed in the 5th position and will move on to the free skate tonight. While they struggled with a few elements they sealed their performance with a kiss, on what was already Valentine's Day in South Korea.

The two met professionally and began skating together, before sparks started to fly off the ice as well. They met in 2012, and won their first US pairs title in 2015, and a year later their coach officiated their wedding.

They've fought battles on and off the ice together, and at one point they were off the ice for eight months, while Alexa battled a rare stomach disorder. Now, they are enjoying their time in South Korea, living a life long dream to compete at the Olympics.

After helping the U.S. to a bronze in the team event, Alexa Scimeca Knierim and Chris Knierim will represent Team USA in the pairs competition. The pairs short program kicks off tonight at 7 pm on NBC.
