Fireman’s View Of A Fire From An HD Helmet Camera [VIDEO]

My dad was a fireman with the Austin Fire Department for over 30 years.  I would listen in amazement at the stories that he would tell about battling blazes.

Standing in the boots of a firefighter is really the only way to truly understand just how dangerous their job is, but this HD helmet-cam certainly gives you a real life perspective.

This comes to us from a group from Detroit that is trying to put together a film which documents their firefighters with some superb high definition video.

They're still looking for more funding to make this a reality, but here's a snippet of one of those videos from the film.
