Henderson’s Gospel Concert + Dinner Benefit is April 12

Good Hope Baptist Church in Henderson is holding its 9th Annual Gospel Concert and Dinner benefiting the Rusk County 'Relay for Life' Good Hope team with proceeds benefiting the American Red Cross.

The concert and dinner will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Marshall. Enjoy special music, a chicken spaghetti dinner, a silent auction and tons of door prizes.

Music will be provided by New Plainsmen and Grounded Quartet. Also performing are Tripp Trio, Hatti Bridges, Ally Fuller, Reynolds Family and Harold Bassett.

Dinner is served at 4:30 p.m. and the concert gets under way at 6:30 p.m. Ticket prices are $15 in advance for the concert only and $18 in advance for the concert and dinner.

Tickets can be purchased at theses following locations: Henderson Area Chamber of Commerce, Citizens National Banks in Henderson and Mt. Enterprise, Lone Star Feed, Lifeway Christian stores in Tyler / Longview and The Scroll in Tyler.

The benefit is in honor of the late Sallie Green, who chaired the fundraiser for years, and recently lost her battle with cancer.
