I love to stop and grab road trip snacks when I come across a Buc-ee's. We don't have them where I'm from, and my friends and I always get excited when we spot one. I even considered applying to one in Bastrop, Texas while attending college in Austin. It always looked like a fun place to work, but according to one former Buc-ee's employee, the job totally sucks...

TikTok creator @jeffreyjohn441 claimed in a recent video that his job at Buc-ee's was NOT worth the competitive $21-per-hour salary. He lasted 3 months before he threw in the towel and ditched the fancy gas station.

Check out the video below:

I was kind of surprised when I checked out the comment section on this video. It looks like the majority of people seem to think Buc-ee's isn't doing anything wrong by enforcing such strict rules and policies.

"Responsibility and accountability is real!!!!"

"One minute late is...LATE!"

"Seems like a very reasonable set of rules. Long live Buc-ee's!"

I kept scrolling through, looking for comments from other employees that would verify his claim that working there isn't all it's cracked up to be. I only found one from someone who says they've been with Buc-ee's for 10 years and they love it.

Now, I'm curious to hear from you guys...

What do you think about the rules? Do you think they are out of line to write you up for being one minute late? Is a single pecan worth your entire job? Or, do you think that Buc-ee's is just running a tight ship? Let me know in a comment wherever you find this article.

Texans Reveal What Should Really Be Taught In Public School

When I look back on my education in Texas, I remember vast amounts of my precious time spent learning things that never helped me in real life- particularly how to take a standardized test. Instead of wasting our children's time, what should be taught in Texas schools?
