Just last week while at an outdoor gathering for my 7 year old son Leonard's Cub Scout meeting, an unexpected and uninvited guest made an appearance just as the pack meeting was coming to an end in Temple, Texas. The city of Cedar Park has just released a statement that a trap at Brushy Creek has just had its first positive West Nile test in 5 years.

So, the threat of West Nile Virus appears to remain as long as the mosquitoes are swarming. If you do find yourself experiencing symptoms, seek medical treatment immediately.
