When I saw this story from KLTV, I had to share. If it doesn't bring a happy tear or two to you, there's something wrong.

April 29 was a rough day as several tornadoes ravished East Texas. Our neighbors in Canton are still cleaning up.

The small town of Fruitvale was also hit during the storms. One East Texan lost not only their home, but something very special to her.

KLTV shared the story of Teresa Pierson who is a special needs adult who lives with her mother in Fruitvale. She is a huge Elvis fan who had a big collection of Elvis memorabilia that was lost to the tornadoes.

A clean up volunteer, Lisa Overton, posted on Facebook wanting to get a few Elvis items donated. Word spread and hundreds of items were donated.

On Teresa's 58th birthday, Elvis (impersonator Gib Maynard) came to deliver the gifts and serenade the birthday girl.

As a collector myself (anything Transformers), I know what it means to display something you love with pride. Teresa now has some new items to fill her shelves thanks to the big-as-Texas-hearts of East Texans.

You can still help with a Go Fund Me page set up called Graceland in Fruitvale.
