Mark Wahlberg Says He Could Have Saved 9/11 Passengers On Plane

Open mouth, insert foot. That seemingly seems to be the regimen of actor Mark Wahlberg these days. His recent statements in an interview with Men's Journal have stirred up quite the controversy regarding himself and the deceased passengers of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on United Flight 93.He said:

"If I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn't have went down like it did. There would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, 'OK, we're going to land somewhere safely, don't worry.'"

TMZ first broke this story and many found it narcissistic and appalling. Wahlberg has since apologized for his comments stating:

"To suggest I would have done anything differently than the passengers on that plane was irresponsible. I deeply apologize to the families of the victims that my answer came off as insensitive, it was certainly not my intention."

Yeah Mark. We agree. That was pretty insensitive of you.
