Miley Cyrus could be returning to television. Miley is talking with the folks at Lifetime/History Channel about a miniseries on Bonnie & Clyde. The former Disney Channel star is making a big leap from her character, Hannah Montana to Bonnie Parker. The miniseries would be the first time a program has aired on both sister networks. "Smash" executive producers Neil Meron and Craig Zadan will produce the series.

Kevin Costner took home an Emmy for his lead performance in the highly rated History Channel miniseries "Hatfield & McCoys." Later this fall, Lifetime will air its Elizabeth Taylor show,  "Liz & Dick," starring Lindsay Lohan.

Bonnie Parker & Clyde Barrow were a pair of outlaws who became known for their bank robberies during the Great Depression. Faye Dunaway played Bonnie in the well-known 1967 film, Bonnie and Clyde, which puts Miley in some pretty good company. There's no word on who might play the Clyde to Miley's Bonnie, but my vote is for Miley's fiance, Liam Hemsworth!
