As a bonded pair, Gracie and George are looking for a fur-ever home.

Gracie, on the left, and her son George, on the right, have been together since his birth and are looking to stay together throughout life. Both Gracie and George must be adopted as a pair from the Humane Society'ss Pets Fur People in Tyler. This mom and son pair are exceptionally well mannered, according to Pets Fur People, and enjoy walking together on a leash. They're apparantly little angels and are spoiled because the love to go on car rides to get frozen custard at Andy's Frozen Custard.

Gracie and George have never meet a stranger, they are social butterflies. Gracie is about 5 years old and weighs 12 pounds and little George is about 3 years old and weighs 9 pounds, they won’t take up much room in the bed. They have been spayed and neutered and are current on starting vaccinations including rabies. They have also been microchipped for identification purposes. In addition, Gracie and George will go home with a starter kit of food, bedding, a collar and leash and a certificate for half price on basic obedience from Tyler Obedience Training Club.

Adoption hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. - closed for lunch 1 - 2 p.m. The Humane Society’s Pets Fur People is the oldest brick and mortar no kill shelter in East Texas.
