As much as five inches of rain fell in parts of Cherokee County yesterday, flooding many roadways. Anderson county had it's share of heavy rain as well, prompting road closures there, too.

Officials urge you not to drive through a flooded roadway. Two inches of rushing water is enough to pick up a vehicle and wash it away.

Anderson County
