Sonic’s Pickle Juice Slushes Are Available Now

Your long wait is over. Today Sonic Drive-In's new Pickle Juice Slush debuted at participating restaurants nationwide, and here in East Texas. It debuted today (June 11) alongside Tiger's Blood, Blue Hawaiian and Bahama Mama -- and while all are surely quite tasty none have got folks more excited than Pickle Juice.

If you're wondering how it tastes, before dropping your happy hour money on it -- Food & Wine magazine described it as "sweet and tangy," adding that the "only gripe is that the slush is a bit too sweet, as if overcorrecting for the acidity, but maybe this is what has to happen for America to acclimate to — and embrace — a pickle-flavored soft drink."
