I look forward to carving my pumpkin every year for Halloween, and last night I was thinking "who came up with the idea of a" jack o' lantern". So, I Googled it! I realize how random this is - just work with me.

As the Brand Manager of 101.5 KNUE, I don't believe I have ever been more proud of the station and our morning show, with Big D and Bubba. If you are a faithful listener of the morning show, then you know each Friday, Big D and Bubba have a prayer for all the student athletes playing their football games tonight and Saturdays.

I absolutely love watching movies, but this summer I was a little disappointed in the movie offerings. So, I am looking forward to the fall movie season for sure.

Coming up on a milestone birthday, Amy has decided to get healthy. So, she tries out some yoga. You will not be able to hold in giggles watching her twist and stumble through some of these poses.

Halloween is tomorrow and all the little ghouls and goblins will be out in full force filling their pumpkin pails with as much candy as possible. I remember those days fondly. It's great to be a kid.

Jerrod Niemann is one of the best things to come along in country music! There are a lot of talented artists out right now, but I have to admit, Jerrod Niemann's latest hit, "Shinin' On Me" does it for me. Every now and then there is a song that comes along that has the elements of a hit song, and "Shinin' On Me" is just that.

In Russellville, Arkansas there is a special ranch that helps kids with disabilities. Physical therapists Kusturin and Dana Warren came together to form the Equestrian Zone, physical, speech and occupational therapy center that treats children with horses offering the rider numerous benefits.  The children get the thrill of riding the horses while receiving physical and mental therapy.

I know you guys can relate to this story. I 've been feeling 'under the weather' going on 3 weeks now and working long hours to boot. So, by the time Sunday rolled around, I was worthless. I needed to rest and enjoy some 'comfort food.' Well as you know, I have a very limited amount of recipes that I can actually execute, but I thought a homemade soup was in order.

I am lovin' my new home here at KNUE.  One of the best parts is working with East Texas sweetheart Amy Austin (I even get to share an office with her.)  So as everyone in the ET area knows she's led a very interesting and fun-filled life, but what's better is she loves to talk about her wild and crazy antics with me and I just soak it all up, taking very meticulous notes the whole time...
