I respect the traditions families have during the holidays, but you don't need to wait until next year to try this tamale-making hack. My San Antonio reported earlier today of a San Antonio party planner who's Facebook video went viral - like 108,000+ shares and almost 7 million views in two days viral.

The entire process takes about 40 seconds, which sounds pretty dang fast. Check out her process that has the Internet obsessing over tamales. Then make some and send to us for a taste test!

According to mySA, Christina Fuentes Rosendahl posted the video to show her family and then all of a sudden, 5 million people had seen it! She almost deleted the video - thank goodness she did not. It looks so simple, I'm going to give it a go this weekend.

  • Flatten out the masa with the press (on plastic)
  • Put filling in, roll masa up
  • Put in husk

You don't really need tamale making parties anymore (which means you can have more for yourself!).

It's elegant really. I bet there are other delicious food items we can apply the same technique to. Can you think of any?
