Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day In East Texas This Weekend

St. Patrick's Day is coming up on Monday. Thousands of East Texans will be celebrating this Irish event through parades, wearing something green, and enjoying Irish food and drink, including green beer, this weekend!

The day commemorates the death of the patron saint of Ireland, St. Patrick. He was a 5th century Christian missionary who was credited for spreading Christianity throughout Ireland.

While celebrating St. Patrick's Day this weekend or on Monday, remember to toss those green beers and other drinks back responsibly. Arrange for a sober ride home. NEVER DRINK AND DRIVE.

It is going to be a very early spring-like weekend this weekend in East Texas thanks to another cool front moving in and cooling us off to the lower 70s Saturday and upper 60s Sunday.

The spring festival season is beginning to heat up as the trees and flowers start to bloom, spreading their pollen across East Texas. There will be plenty of things for the entire family to be a part of in the coming next few months.
