What an endearing story coming out of Lindale!

CBS-19 reports the tale of two teachers, Amanda Yuhanna and Megan Fadal, who are both first-grade teachers at Velma Penny Elementary School in Lindale. Ever since the stay-at-home order has been issued for all schools here in the state of Texas, Fadal and Yuhanna have missed their students something fierce.

The teachers both decided to make some old-school friendship bracelets for their students. They even stuck signs in each student's yard to let them know their bracelet gift was there for them. Some of the students have been sending the teachers pictures of themselves wearing the friendship bracelets and letting them know just how special their gift is to them.

"I'm so, so, so proud of you, and I love you so much, I wish I could hug all of you guys. But for right now, we're just staying at home to stay safe. And I just want you to know that it's going to be OKAY! And when all this is over, your brain will have grew, and we will all see each other again!" - Amanda Yuhanna, 1st Grade Teacher, Velma Penny Elementary School

Awww, how sweet is that!
