The Seminole County Sheriff's Department posted this interesting video of a 'cow' pursuit they helped the Sanford Police Department with on Sunday. The woman is accused of stealing a car, crashing it and trying to avoid arrest by running through a pasture.

What she didn't count on was the herd of cattle that decided to chase her.

This aerial footage from the Seminole County Sheriff's Office helicopter shows the suspect on the run. According to WKMG of Florida, another suspect got out and fled toward another pasture while a third suspect remained in the car and was later arrested.

You can hear the chopper pilot relaying details to the authorities pursing the suspect.

"Actually, a large group of cows is following her for a good visual," he describes. "She's pretty far into the field now. If you see the large group of cows, they're literally following her and chasing her."

At one point, you can see where one cow got really close to the suspect before backing off. The suspect was able to get across the field and through a fence to escape the cows; however she was not able to escape authorities who, with help from the chopper pilot, caught her hiding in the bushes.

The cow's owners spoke to WKMG stating:

I think they didn't realize who they were. They panicked. The cows were nervous. That would make me panic — if all those big cows come running at you. They didn't know them. They don't know if they're there to hurt them, or steal one of the babies.

I think this comment from the Sheriff's office sums it up quite well.

"A group of cows provided law enforcement a big assist, repeatedly following and helping corral one who strayed onto their turf," the Sheriff's Office said.

Giddy up!
