Growing up in a house with 4 boys, I have always been competitive and have always loved sports. Football was always the favorite in our house growing up, whether we were playing it or watching it, we always had it on our minds. But over the years watching and going to football games has gone up in price. You're paying for streaming services or all of the costs to go to a game. But do you know how much it costs to go to an NFL game anymore, it's gotten out of hand.

Cowboys Tickets Can Cost Hundreds of Dollars

It's always fun being at a sporting event live cheering on your favorite team. But did you know the average cost to go see a Dallas Cowboys football game depending on your tickets and how much you spend on transportation, parking, food and merchandise, a Cowboys game can easily cost several hundred dollars. Let's break down the cost.

For tickets alone you're talking about between $160 and $300. Gas you're probably in $40 each way, parking will easily cost you between $40 and $60. But that is all before you even step foot in the stadium.

Food and Drinks Add to the Bill

Then we start buying food which will probably be anywhere from $50 to $80, it's always best to get a good meal prior to showing up at the stadium. Drinks you're in another $20 to $40. And don't forget you're probably going to need some new team merchandise.

The costs have gone up drastically over the past 5 years, just like the cost of everything has gone up.

Is Going to an NFL Game Still Worth It?

I love watching live sports but for that cost you could make a room in your house dedicated to watching the games in comfort, which is what I prefer now. Especially when I hear about fights in the stands and disgusting bathrooms.
