David Nail Performed at UT Tyler’s Homecoming Celebration

Nashville artist David Nail made an appearance in Tyler Saturday night to celebrate UT Tyler's Homecoming.

Homecoming festivities were scheduled all week at UT Tyler, culminating with the announcement of the Homecoming King and Queen ahead of a free concert for students and alumni. David Nail and the Well Ravens performed in the Herrington Patriot Center.

Rain in the forecast created an obstacle for event staff. Originally, the concert was set to be outdoors, but with the potential for severe weather in the forecast, event organizers moved it inside the gym.

His set list included not only his hits, but some interesting covers and new music. He opened with Tonight, Red Light soon after, and dropped in Fighter, Kiss You Tonight and Whatever She's Got to finish out the night.

I was invited to attend, and welcome David Nail on stage, and also had the opportunity to grab a quick photo and brief interaction.
