If you're anything like me, you're on your phone quite a bit throughout the day. Whether it involves calls for work, checking in on the kids, or just ordering lunch, if you're an AT&T customer, chances are you've had some issues on the other line today (Wednesday). Turns out, you're not alone.

Today while ordering lunch over the phone, or attempting to, the woman on the other end of the line could hear me, but I couldn't hear her. To me, she sounded like she was under water, or going through one of those underground tunnels (like on the highway in Florida). Regardless, I couldn't hear anything she said.

I didn't think anything of it at the time, but later as I'm browsing through Facebook, I see I'm not alone in the phone problems I've had today. On Facebook, a user identified as Erik Edgar who works with Shen Solutions, Inc, says that the issue is believed to be with a tower upgrade happening in Tyler.

The upgrade seems to be impacting internet services as well.

Reading other posts of AT&T Facebook users - some as far away as Oklahoma - are reporting service issues that could last days or more.

I've tried reaching out to AT&T via social media (since they won't be able to speak with me on the phone), but I haven't heard back. Please update me if you hear anything new!

It's a pain that I hope AT&T straightens out soon!
