Unfortunately, the 'Luck Of The Irish' wasn't felt by all last night or last week in Gregg County Texas. Some people interacted with the Longview Police Department, Gregg County Sheriff's Office, and other agencies and ended up being taken and booked into the Gregg County Jail. Because of that some of those arrested are now facing at least one felony charge.

Among those felony charges that some were arrested for was driving while intoxicated. Whether the DUI was for a third time, or more, or for having a child in the vehicle under the age of 15, individuals were arrested and are now charged with a felony.

While it may be customary to throw back a couple of green beers on St. Patrick's Day while you're out having a good time with your friends, you've got to be smart about it. You need to find another way home besides making a bad decision and getting behind the wheel after out partying and trying to keep up with the Irish.

NEVER DRINK AND DRIVE

Thankfully Gregg County law enforcement was able to intervene in several of these instances and arrest those individuals who were driving under the influence before they ended up in a worse condition.
