Cheyenne is a new arrival at the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People in Tyler, Texas. She arrived just last week and the staff is hoping she will be adopted by a new family fairly quickly.

Cheyenne is a 7-year-old hound mix who weighs about 75 pounds. Cheyenne is partially house-trained and is pretty laid back. She's well beyond her rowdy puppy years but still has lots of spunk and energy.

With lots of love to give in return, Cheyenne enjoys belly rubs and long walks. While space is becoming tight at Pets Fur People in Tyler, the no-kill shelter is doing what it can to place dogs like Cheyenne in loving homes.

The normal adoption fee of $195 to adopt Cheyenne has been reduced to $40. They believe she has a purpose, a purpose to give love to your family, and want to limit her time within the shelter.

Cheyenne will go home with a starter kit of food, a collar and leash, and a big fluffy bed.  For additional information on adopting Cheyenne call 903.597.2471 or check the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People website. Pets Fur People requires a completed adoption application before arranging a meet and greet.
